When it comes down to it there are a ton of places to get pizza in Topeka. From Pizza Hut & Old Chicago to Papa Johns & Godfather’s, the list is endless. But for this article we wanted to try to keep it local. Even though you could always go for pizza at a big franchise, we wrote this to highlight the places that Topeka has to offer. This list is in no particular order and is based off the scientific findings of online reviews and our team’s opinion. 😉

With 4 locations in the Greater Topeka Area, Glory Days is one of the most popular places to grab a slice of pizza in the city. Their popularity is the reason behind their nomination for 2019 Best Pizza in Topeka. The Topeka community through the Topeka Capital Journal’s annual contest votes on this every year. Whether you’re on the East side of Topeka and want to grab a bite by Lake Shawnee or if you’re on the West side on Wanamaker, Glory Days has you covered! For me, it’s their meat lovers that gets me every time, but no matter what you get, you can’t lose!

Topeka Pizza opened its doors in January of 2018 and has been serving the Topeka Community ever since. Topeka Pizza’s Buffalo NY style pizza is mouthwatering at the sight but don’t just take our word for it! Check out their online menu and see these Pizza’s for yourself. New to the Topeka scene, SPIN Pizza opened its doors in September of 2019 and hasn’t looked back! Located off of 29th and Fairlawn in Wheatfield Village, SPIN offers its customers a wide variety of pizza. Whether you’re wanting a classic pepperoni pizza or something a little different like BBQ Pizza, SPIN has it. SPIN also has a handful of different sandwiches, salads, and soups on their menu as well. AJ’s NY Pizzeria has brought the Big Apple to Topeka, KS! More importantly… their pizza. AJ’s NY Pizzeria is an authentic New York Italian styled pizzeria located just off of 21st and Westport. Their menu is loaded with different types of NY Pizzas! Their slogan, “If it is not used in the top NY pizzerias, it is not used at AJ’s”, couldn’t be more fitting. With over five hundred positive reviews online between Google and Facebook, it’s clear that the people of Topeka LOVE their LaRocca’s Pizza! What started out as Bagel Express (which first opened it’s doors in 1994), has turned into Topeka’s BEST Pizzeria and Bakery Cafe. The name is a play off of the restaurant’s two featured menu items – pizza and bagels. This combination has long been apart of the Topeka community and one that isn’t leaving anytime soon. Not only can you enjoy some of the best pizza in Topeka but also Freshly Baked Bagels and Pastries, Coffee, Espresso Drinks, Smoothies, Soups, Salads, Sandwiches. Stop on by and try it yourself!
